About Us

With an aim to offer authentic, vegan food in Bangalore, The Thai Vegan Kitchen was conceptualised by Nandu Asrani, a committed vegan who has been trained under two vegan chefs in Bangkok, Thailand. 

His mantra was simple – to bring the heart of Thai cuisine to the table, reimagined through a vegan lens. Joining him on this culinary expedition are Kunal Asrani and Karan Asrani as co-founders. 

What started in 2021 as a small cloud kitchen in the heart of Frazer town soon turned into a quaint, cosy dine-in restaurant that can house 50 patrons at a time. 

Our core philosophy is simple – to serve food that is fresh, authentic, nourishing, kind and full of flavour.  

Every item on our extensive menu is made with the finest and freshest of ingredients, without the use of preservatives or colour.

From rich curries to fragrant stir-fries, everything is made from scratch while honouring traditional Thai culinary techniques.

At TVK, we believe in offering our patrons a unique dining experience. It is specially designed to help you slow down and feel at ease. With natural materials and a laid-back atmosphere, we’ve created a sanctuary where good food and good energy come together.

Our founders are deeply committed to sustainability, and thus we ensure our ingredients are thoughtfully sourced and our packaging too is eco-friendly and biodegradable.

In 2024, we were awarded the Thai SELECT, a mark of certification awarded by the Ministry of Commerce, The Royal Thai Government to guarantee the authentic Thai taste of Thai food products and Thai restaurants in Thailand and overseas. It was presented to us by the Thai Trade Centre, Mumbai.

Looking ahead, The Thai Vegan Kitchen aims to expand its presence with new outlets in India and around the world.
